Kathy Griffin and her very personal take on Catholics and swearing. When I watched this for the first time I was laughing so hard I was crying. (From her "Everybody Can Suck It" Special)
Kathy Griffin rips on dumb party girls "accidentally"exposi ng themselves in public. Britney Spears, of course, gets a nod. [from "Everybody Can Suck It"]
Alan's dumb ex-wife Kandi gets a part in a new forensic science crime drama, "Stiffs." A brilliant "CSI" parody, complete with a theme song by "The Who."
Dilbert is sassed by his alarm clock, which is in the form of Jeri Ryan's character 7 of 9, from the show "Star Trek: Voyager." Being a huge geek and once a huge Trekkie, I found this clip laugh-out-loud hilarious. Jeri Ryan makes a voice cameo.
There's a fine line between being a better listener and turning into L.B. Jeffries.
See the reasons why TiVo was invented in a riffing subcategory I call Kommercial Kavalcade.
Moody Bible Institute produced several science-themed shorts that of course had some godly overtones. Nothing blatant like today's Fundie Wackos, but still funny to watch. This one is about carnivorous plants.
This is my mash-up trailer for Oliver Stone's movie "W." I tried to match appropriate news clips with the characters ;¬) I hope everyone "gets it." I had fun making it.
I love MST3K and I love talking back at the movie / tv screen. I decided to try riffing on this Sid Davis educational film about the dangers of alcohol. I'm not claiming this is anything great, but I had a lot of fun doing it and I want to share it.
pt. 1 - Take a joy ride through this cautionary tale about kids on a raucous (stolen!) car ride through the mid-seventies. Or something. If I were ever to meet the blond kid in person, I would've shaved his head on the spot myself.
Riff buddies Emily K ("Riff Chick") and Byron ("Soiled Shortz") present a collaboration on the short film "Let's Play Fair." We each made our own edits so check out Soiled Shortz's edit too.
Part 1 of 2: William Shakespeare's Twelfth Night as acted out by paper bag puppets. Specifically, this short film makes fun of the Kenneth Branagh movie version of the play.
My second humble attempt at riffing an educational film, in homage to MST3K. This one is about bicycle safety - honestly it provides some good tips but still manages to come across as out of touch.
