On April 25,2007 around 3:30 pm, the Fair Lawn fire department was dispatched to 122 36th Street for a possible structure fire.. First due unit a (Fair Lawn rescue member) reported the 2nd floor of a 2.5 sty frame was "fully involved" Hvy smoke was pushing from the D-side of the house.
Hasbrouck Heights Fire Department under the command of chief Tony Greco fought this "fully involved" 1 story comm used as a liquor store. Numerous m/a was requested to the scene

On April 22, 2007 about 5:45pm the Harrison Fire Department responded to the intersection of Frank E Rogers Blvd and Cross st where they found hvy fire in a 3 sty dwelling with extention to a 2 sty dwelling. The fire started between both buildings. Companies encountered hvy fire thru the roof within minutes of arrival. M/A was called in from Kearny,Jersey City, East Newark and North Arlington
During 2002 the Hackensack Fire department fought a stubborn fire involving numerous cars in the junkyard of the Hackensack Auto Body Shop on Second street. Despite ladder pipes firefighters faced limited access to the fire. Heavy smoke condition could be seen from a distance
