In response to the affordable housing crisis and gentrification in South Florida, activists have squatted a publicly owned vacant lot and built a shantytown to house the homeless. I spent 24 hours in the Umoja Village and discovered a community in the making.

One thing about Chile, crazy art seems to be everywhere in the streets. I found this stuff in barrio bellavista, santiago and escuela experimental de circo, valparaiso.

Mostly raw footage of a largely communist march in Valparaiso, Chile on May 21st, 2007: "Día de las Glorias Navales." This protest coincided with a visit from Chilean Presidente Michelle Bachelet and her second state of the nation address given a few blocks away.
